are Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth." |
|
Union Lodge of Strict Observance No. 3 was organized in Detroit,
Michigan in 1851, and received its Charter from the Grand Lodge of Michigan on
January 15, 1852. We meet on the first Monday evening of each month (except on legal holidays and during the months of July and August) in the Greek Ionic Lodge Room on the Fifth Floor of the Detroit Masonic Temple, our home for the past eighty years. Freemasonry may be seen as a progressive system for man's moral, intellectual and spiritual development. Masonic Lodges do not recruit members. Men having a positive opinion of the fraternity are welcome to petition for membership.
